If you're someone who needs a little extra support when taking exams, don't worry! There are two Testing Accommodation Centers (TACs) on campus that can meet your needs. These centers offer a quiet, supportive environment where you can take your exams in the way that suits you best.
TAC Locations
The Central Campus Classroom Building (CCCB) serves as the primary testing center on campus. It has 34 seats, which can be adjusted to help you sit or stand comfortably. The exam area offers 13 desktop computers. There are also 3 private rooms with 2 desktop computers per room.
The Modern Languages Building (MLB) has 45 seats, including 12 adjustable seats. The exam area has 4 desktop computers. There are also 4 private rooms with 5 desktop computers, available for use in any of the 3 rooms.
Access to the TAC depends on each instructor’s exam plan. Discuss the testing options available for your class. If the instructor uses the TAC, they will submit a request on your behalf, and the TAC staff will schedule your reservation accordingly. If the TAC is at capacity, alternative arrangements with your instructor may be necessary.
Important Information for Your Exam Day
On the day of your exam, we want you to feel comfortable and prepared. Here are some important things to keep in mind.
- Check your Final Confirmation email for all the details you need, including your TAC location and start time.

- There are cameras in both centers, but they are for viewing only and do not record.

Third-Party Testing
Third-party testing agencies and graduate or licensure exams usually have their own accommodations process. The documentation requirements differ, so it is important to review them at least 6 months before you plan to take the exam. This will give you time to update documentation if needed.
For details on some of the more common third-party exams, see our Third-Party Exam page.
